Presented work tries to reflect the structure of human world, which is able to create an overman as an artificial intelligence through its self-destructive tendency. It investigates the possibilities of our imagination and if we are able to think about artificial intelligence as a sui generis continuation of human species. Hand in hand it tries to create a tension between particular ethico-political decisions and subsequent binding structure, which they implies.

Patočka and Modernity: a study of Patočka's dialogue with Max Weber and its importance in the context of contemporary civilizational analysis

Patočka and Modernity Jakub Homolka Abstract: This thesis deals with the work of Jan Patočka (1907-1977), probably the most important Czech philosopher of the twentieth century, and with his understanding of modernity. More precisely, the thesis focuses on Patočka's work from the perspective of contemporary civilizational analysis, which leads our attention especially to Patočka's dialogue with the work of the German sociologist Max Weber (1864-1920). The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part introduces Patočka's work in general; it summarizes the situation of Patočka's heritage, subsuming existing findings and future challenges. The second part discusses the perspective of civilizational analysis, a subdiscipline of contemporary historical sociology, and explains the link between this field of research and Patočka's work. Finally, the third part presents an interpretation of Patočka's work which emphasizes the very perspective of civilizational analysis: the focus is on Patočka's dialogue with Weber's work, which is most notably expressed in the philosopher's idea of "rational civilization". In this way, the thesis contributes to the existing interpretations of Patočka's work as well as to the discussions of the theoretical concept of civilizational analysis. Function of the Cadre and Personnel Departments in Czechoslovakia in the Period 1948-1989

This bachelor thesis discusses the impact of the activities of Cadre and Personnel Departments in Czechoslovakia during the rule of the Communist Party. The study is based on historical documents, learning materials, and secondary vocational studies, monographs and collections of materials and describes constitution, functioning and changes in personnel policy and nomenclature of the Communist Party in the period between February 1948 and November 1989. In its analytical part there are listed and categorized various functions of Cadre Departments which were practical executor of personnel policy in public administration, and economic organizations. Work also notes a shift in the perception of such terms as "cadre" or "nomenclature" during the time period and interprets the phenomenon as a specific form of bureaucracy, a new social class and confronts the matter with the theory of totalitarianism.

Ethics and Economics in the Course of Economic Thinking History

"Ethics and Economics in the Course of Economic Thinking History" is the essay topic of the disertation. It aims at the description and definition of both terms in the history and it refers to their interactive links and separation in the past. Firstly, both terms are explained and then the most significant representatives and trends are mentioned. Due to their thoughts, ideas and opinions there was a possibility to develop the individual sciences. The theoretical part pays attention to current terms Green Economy and Green Growth which should help to solve the questions of the environment and its saving in the future. Both terms try to find the right solution that would reduce the environmental risks, decrease poverty and support economic growth with the tenable development, and other important topics. The practical part also pays attention to Green Economy. A wide range of societies is questioned about their awareness of the term Green Economy and other things that are connected with it. The survey was made in the South Bohemia region where a big number of societies was addressed. The result shows that more than a half of respondents is not aware of the term Green Economy at all. However they use and follow Green Economy principles so that they respect and live up to them unknowingly.
